Getting started

What to expect before and after ordering.

How do I connect to my server?

After checkout, your server is automatically created and linked to your account. You can view your connection details and manage your server from your dashboard.

Do I get access to a control panel?

Yes. All servers include access to the Pterodactyl panel where you can manage files, install mods/plugins, and control your server.

How fast is setup?

Most servers are provisioned automatically within seconds after checkout.

Can I upgrade later?

Yes. Plans can be upgraded at any time as your server grows.

Where are servers hosted?

All servers are hosted in Canada for low latency across Central North America.

Do you support mods and plugins?

Yes. Minecraft Paper supports plugins, and modded setups can be configured through the panel. Valheim BepInEx plans support mods as well.

Management and backups

What you can do after your server is live.

How do I manage my server?

You can manage your service from your AuraHost account and open the game panel to handle files, restarts, reinstalls, and other server settings.

Do you provide backups?

Yes. Current service includes retention of the two newest automatic backups through the panel, in addition to any game-side world-only saves.

Can I upload an existing world?

In most cases, yes. Exact workflow depends on the game and server type, but world and save migration is intended to be manageable through the panel.

Can I change plans later?

That is planned as the platform matures. For now, choosing a plan with a bit of room to grow is the safest option.

Billing and account access

What to expect from checkout, login, and support.

When does billing begin?

Billing begins when your order is placed through the live checkout flow.

Will I get login details after ordering?

Yes. After checkout you will either set up your AuraHost account password or sign in to your existing account, then manage your services from there.

Do you use shared infrastructure?

Hosting plans run on managed infrastructure with allocated resources per server plan. Performance depends on the selected plan and workload.

Can I contact you before ordering?

Yes. Email info@aurahost.ca with your game type, expected player count, and whether you want plugins or mods.
