Terms & policies

Please review AuraHost's Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and Acceptable Use Policy before purchasing or using our services.

Terms of Service

The core rules covering service use, billing, responsibility, and liability.

Overview

Last Updated: March 16, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern the use of services provided by AuraHost ("AuraHost", "we", "us", or "our"). By purchasing or using any AuraHost service, you agree to these Terms.

Services Provided

AuraHost provides game server hosting services including, but not limited to:

  • Minecraft server hosting
  • Valheim server hosting
  • Game server management panel access
  • Related infrastructure and support services

Services may be provisioned automatically after successful payment. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any service at any time.

Account Responsibility

Customers are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the security of their account and login credentials
  • All activity performed on their hosted server
  • Backing up any important data
  • Ensuring their use complies with applicable laws and these policies

AuraHost is not responsible for losses caused by stolen credentials, weak passwords, user error, plugin or mod issues, misconfiguration, or customer actions.

Acceptable Use

Customers may not use AuraHost services to:

  • Host malware, botnets, or malicious software
  • Launch or assist DDoS attacks
  • Attempt unauthorized access to systems or networks
  • Distribute illegal, abusive, or infringing content
  • Abuse platform resources in a way that impacts other customers

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate services that violate these Terms or threaten platform stability or security.

Billing and Payments

All services are billed in advance unless otherwise stated. Payments are processed through third-party payment processors, including Stripe.

Failure to pay may result in suspension or termination of service. AuraHost reserves the right to change pricing for future billing cycles.

Refunds

Due to the digital and immediately consumable nature of hosting services, refunds are generally not provided once a service has been provisioned, renewed, or materially delivered.

Refund requests may be reviewed on a case-by-case basis at our sole discretion.

Service Availability

AuraHost aims for reliable uptime but does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. Downtime may occur due to hardware failure, software updates, upstream provider outages, network interruptions, abuse mitigation, or other operational issues.

Backups and Data Loss

Customers are responsible for maintaining their own backups unless a backup service is explicitly included and described as part of their plan.

Even where backup functionality exists, AuraHost does not guarantee that data can be restored or that backups will always be current, complete, or available.

Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate services for reasons including:

  • Violation of these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy
  • Non-payment or chargebacks
  • Activity that threatens infrastructure stability or security
  • Fraudulent or deceptive account activity

Upon termination, stored server data may be deleted without further notice, subject to legal obligations and reasonable operational retention periods.

Limitation of Liability

AuraHost services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, AuraHost shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, loss of profits, business interruption, or loss of goodwill.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability relating to any claim arising from the service shall not exceed the amount paid by the customer to AuraHost for the affected service during the 30 days preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

Changes to These Terms

AuraHost may update these Terms from time to time. Updated versions will be posted on this page. Continued use of the service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
